oder nichts da gewesen waere

dann haette ich gesagt:

was fuer eine bloede idee

aber: es war etwas da

nur ich konnte es nicht bergen

or if there had been nothing

then I would have said:

what a stupid idea

but: there was something there

only I could not retrieve it]
